Spectators: 7179 (Terracing: 5403, Seating: 1656, VIP seats: 120) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gustavo Ofelio kicked off to start the match. In the 11th minute Gustavo Ofelio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severo Otsoa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 12 played minutes Cosmigonon F.C got a freekick which was hit by Leon Indartsu. Cosmigonon F.C's Gregorio Tano got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 25th match minute, Guerrero was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abelardo Baraquiel to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gregorio Tano in the 27th minute of play forced Guerrero's goalkeeper Rodrigo Arnau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Gregorio Tano came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Cosmigonon F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gregorio Tano couldn't finish the play. Ricardo Maureo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ricardo Maureo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maximino Cordaryal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Severo Otsoa having to make a save. Severo Otsoa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustavo Ofelio in the 43rd minute of play. 49 minutes into the match, Guerrero's goal looked a bit too open when Ricardo Maureo came free, but Rodrigo Arnau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The crowd rose to their feet as Ricardo Maureo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rodrigo Arnau. That made the score 0-1 in the 53 minute of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 56th minute of the game. One of Guerrero:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Cosmigonon F.C:s goal. Rodrigo Arnau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardo Maureo in the 67th minute of play. Guerrero's Maximino Cordaryal got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Maximino Cordaryal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severo Otsoa having to interfere. Gustavo Ofelio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 81st minute Ricardo Maureo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodrigo Arnau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 90 minutes into the match, Cosmigonon F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Maximino Cordaryal came free, but Severo Otsoa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 97th minute, Ricardo Maureo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 99th minute of the match, Ricardo Maureo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Rodrigo Arnau saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The Cosmigonon F.C supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Cosmigonon F.C would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
