In the 25th minute Godofredo Hitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oscar Lertxun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ticucho FC's goalkeeper Moises Bembe, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Donato Nabars short, quick shot in the 28thth minute got Oscar Lertxun to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When MARADROGA FC's Hermengildo Shepherd in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Godofredo Hitz made the kick off in the second half. In the 60th minute, Severiano Opilano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Godofredo Hitz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Oscar Lertxun was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in MARADROGA FC's zone, Donato Nabar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oscar Lertxun came out of the goal and Donato Nabar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Godofredo Hitz in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Oscar Lertxun prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Ticucho FC's Godofredo Hitz in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye MARADROGA FC's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Godofredo Hitz in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Oscar Lertxun saved MARADROGA FC from getting behind. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Ticucho FC had played much better football throughout.
