In the 4th minute of the match, Leo Ireno got a very nice opportunity to score, but Mateo Polo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Ruperto Machado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Gomesano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Leo Ireno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jacinto Raymond struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Mateo Polo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Solomillo al Horno. Leo Ireno's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Mateo Polo firmly grabbed it by the left post. 33 minutes into the game, Leo Ireno lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Mateo Polo. Mateo Polo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leo Ireno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 39th minute, Jacinto Raymond got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 46th minute, Leo Ireno ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mateo Polo was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Guaberto Katia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ruperto Machado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guaberto Katia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mateo Polo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leo Ireno in the 60th minute of play. Jacinto Raymond recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 68 minutes had been played when some careless play by Solomillo al Horno's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Romulo Cordarin was slow to take the kick. During this time Tilcarense FC's players had a chance to rest. Christian Serapio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Ruperto Machado made a huge save. When Guaberto Katia came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Tilcarense FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guaberto Katia couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as Guaberto Katia kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ruperto Machado. That made the score 2-1 in the 75 minute of play. Mateo Polo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leo Ireno in the 78th minute of the match. Solomillo al Horno's Jacinto Raymond got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 84thth minute of the game Leo Ireno who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tilcarense FC's Mateo Polo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ruperto Machado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guaberto Katia in the 87th minute of the match. 90 minutes into the match, Solomillo al Horno's goal looked a bit too open when Guaberto Katia came free, but Ruperto Machado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Tilcarense FC's zone, Leo Ireno stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mateo Polo came out of the goal and Leo Ireno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mateo Polo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leo Ireno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 95th minute, Tilcarense FC's Guaberto Katia dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. Solomillo al Horno were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
