Mateo Polo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Luis Dacio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luis Dacio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 38 minutes into the match, Luis Dacio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mateo Polo. Tilcarense FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luis Dacio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Filomeno Su in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mateo Polo saved Tilcarense FC from getting behind. In the 47th minute of the match Gabriel Hever sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mateo Polo skillfully saved the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Filomeno Su to strike the kick off in the second half. When Filomeno Su came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Funky Monks FC fans jumped to their feet. Romulo Cordarin charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Romulo Cordarin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Romulo Cordarin hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match.
