Spectators: 6663 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ariel Kelemen took the kick off in the first half of the match. 4 minutes into the match, Tilcarense FC's Romulo Cordarin broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After 7 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Tilcarense FC! Dante Francho shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. With a little luck, Tilcarense FC's Mateo Polo got control of the ball when Hermengildo Shepherd tried to sneak it across the goal line. MARADROGA FC's Ariel Kelemen got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Guaberto Katia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Oscar Lertxun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Christian Serapio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hermengildo Shepherd's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Mateo Polo firmly grabbed it by the left post. Prospero Sauveur hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. MARADROGA FC's Oscar Lertxun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Serapio in the 28th minute of play. Mateo Polo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ariel Kelemen's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Romulo Padro hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. If Hermengildo Shepherd had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ariel Kelemen in the 41st minute of play forced Tilcarense FC's goalkeeper Mateo Polo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 43rd minute, Hermengildo Shepherd got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mateo Polo made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Hermengildo Shepherd sent off a good shot on target. Melchor Eneas's late challenge caught a Tilcarense FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Melchor Eneas helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, MARADROGA FC's Melchor Eneas got a free kick in the 47th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Guaberto Katia in the 49th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Oscar Lertxun prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Guaberto Katia made a kick off. Dante Francho took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 55th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Mateo Polo. Tilcarense FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Mateo Polo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ariel Kelemen, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Guaberto Katia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Oscar Lertxun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Guaberto Katia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 69 minutes into the game, Christian Serapio recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Oscar Lertxun. Christian Serapio showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. Guaberto Katia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 79 minutes into the match, Tilcarense FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hermengildo Shepherd came free, but Mateo Polo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, Tilcarense FC's Oscar Lertxun threw himself towards the right post 84 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Guaberto Katia, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 90th minute Prospero Sauveur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mateo Polo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hermengildo Shepherd fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mateo Polo having to interfere. Romulo Cordarin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The Tilcarense FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Tilcarense FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
