Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Delmiro Bemabe got the match started through his kick off. Israel Hermelando made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delmiro Bemabe in the 4th minute of play. Juan Venerando's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 9thth minute, Alfonso Cefero skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 14 minutes into the game, Leo Erramun cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Israel Hermelando was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 17thth minute of the game Juan Venerando who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Polvaredas FC's Alfonso Cefero was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 19 played minutes Monteverde got a freekick which was hit by Simon Gaitano. Israel Hermelando showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leo Erramun, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. The long shot by Mauricio Maidana in the 27th minute really tested Alfonso Cefero's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 29th minute Delmiro Bemabe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Israel Hermelando saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 30 minutes into the game, Juan Venerando lined in a short shot 1-1 behind a frustrated Alfonso Cefero. Alfonso Cefero stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Juan Venerando's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. An unexpected shot in the 42nd minute by Gustavo Urtsin got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Hugo Bautista kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Juan Venerando stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Polvaredas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zeledon Natal to maneuver through the defense. Juan Venerando received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Alfonso Cefero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 60 played minutes Polvaredas FC got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Bautista. In the 61stth minute of the game Juan Venerando who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Polvaredas FC's Alfonso Cefero was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Gustavo Urtsin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Monteverde's supporters rose to their feet, but Gustavo Urtsin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfonso Cefero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 65th minute, Leo Erramun made a precise shot to the right of Israel Hermelando. Monteverde's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Alfonso Cefero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Venerando in the 72nd minute of play. Gustavo Urtsin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfonso Cefero having to interfere. In the 80th minute Juan Venerando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfonso Cefero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alfonso Cefero stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Juan Venerando's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. When the match clock showed 84 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Juan Venerando sped through Polvaredas FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Alfonso Cefero. In the 88th minute, Juan Venerando got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alfonso Cefero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan Venerando, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leo Erramun could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Israel Hermelando made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Juan Venerando in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alfonso Cefero saved Polvaredas FC from getting behind. Adan Francesco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Monteverde were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Polvaredas FC to leave the ground with a draw.
