After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Generoso Lugo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ositos Gominolas Torpes's supporters rose to their feet, but Generoso Lugo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabricio Lorenz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Generoso Lugo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 49th minute of the match, but Fabricio Lorenz made a huge save. The Ositos Gominolas Torpes players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Los diablos rojos were winning 0-3.

The supporters of Ositos Gominolas Torpes booed when Los diablos rojos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teofilo Pacifico didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fabricio Lorenz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zacarias Oliveiro in the 55th minute of play. Los diablos rojos's Fabricio Lorenz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zacarias Oliveiro in the 56th minute of play. Tomás Porfiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Zacarias Oliveiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 86th minute, Tomás Porfiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Generoso Lugo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Fabricio Lorenz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Generoso Lugo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabricio Lorenz having to interfere. Zacarias Oliveiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Fabricio Lorenz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
