After a defensive mix-up in Tumba Rancho's zone, Cornelio Mannie stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Everardo Gipuzkoa came out of the goal and Cornelio Mannie tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After recieving a nice pass, Gonzalo Castelli FC's Eusebio Bikendi tried to score from far away in the 34th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Amado Bertin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victorio Petrigai having to interfere. If Cayetano Oliveiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cornelio Mannie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Everardo Gipuzkoa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Cayetano Oliveiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Everardo Gipuzkoa having to interfere. Everardo Gipuzkoa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cayetano Oliveiro in the 70th minute of the match.
