The Leguizamón fans' excitement grew in the 6th match minute when Leguizamón's Ceferino Quico looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Victorio Petrigai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardino Jerano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 10 minutes into the match, Leguizamón's Ceferino Quico sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Victorio Petrigai narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Cornelio Mannie came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Gonzalo Castelli FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cornelio Mannie couldn't finish the play. Bernardino Jerano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 23 minutes, Ceferino Quico managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Leguizamón's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ceferino Quico was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ceferino Quico recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bernardino Jerano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Victorio Petrigai having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ceferino Quico in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Victorio Petrigai prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 31 minutes into the match, Leguizamón's Bernardino Jerano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Victorio Petrigai narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Victorio Petrigai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardino Jerano in the 39th minute of play. Leguizamón's Gregorio Rius proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Leguizamón from getting a goal against them. Ceferino Quico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Leguizamón were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Cayetano Oliveiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Gregorio Rius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 54thth minute of the game Ceferino Quico who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gonzalo Castelli FC's Victorio Petrigai was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 58 minutes into the game, Leguizamón's Bernardino Jerano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Victorio Petrigai made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Ceferino Quico's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 63rdth minute, Victorio Petrigai skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Bernardino Jerano might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Victorio Petrigai. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bernardino Jerano ran back to his position shaking his head. Ceferino Quico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victorio Petrigai having to interfere. Cornelio Mannie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gregorio Rius having to interfere. In the 82nd minute, Ceferino Quico fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Victorio Petrigai, passed just outside the right post. Victorio Petrigai stood somewhat misplaced when Amador Quiroga came free in front of goal and shot 0-3 to the left of him in the 86 minute. Victorio Petrigai made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Ceferino Quico sent off a good shot on target. Ceferino Quico blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Victorio Petrigai having to make a save. 93 minutes into the game, Angel Firme was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gonzalo Castelli FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Leguizamón the free kick. After 93 played minutes Gonzalo Castelli FC got a freekick which was hit by Angel Firme. Ceferino Quico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bernardino Jerano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victorio Petrigai having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Leguizamón left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Gonzalo Castelli FC.
