Spectators: 7322 (Terracing: 5493, Seating: 1684, VIP seats: 145) Sierra de la Ventana's Aaron Egoitz started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Domingos Maureo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gregorio Froylan's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. 7 minutes into the match, Sierra de la Ventana's goal looked a bit too open when Gregorio Froylan came free, but Domingos Maureo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Logroño's Gregorio Froylan in the 8th minute got a chance for a shot 8th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sierra de la Ventana's goalie prevented a goal. In the 9thth minute of the game Gregorio Froylan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sierra de la Ventana's Domingos Maureo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 10 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Gregorio Froylan sped through Sierra de la Ventana's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Domingos Maureo. 15 minutes into the game, Ciro Goi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sierra de la Ventana's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Logroño the free kick. In the 18th minute Gregorio Froylan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domingos Maureo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Florentino Xacintu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domingos Maureo having to interfere. Logroño's German Oliveiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aaron Egoitz in the 21st minute of play. Florentino Xacintu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domingos Maureo having to interfere. In the 26th minute, Gregorio Froylan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gregorio Froylan in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Domingos Maureo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gregorio Froylan had several of the Sierra de la Ventana's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 29 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Domingos Maureo as he didn't even see the shot coming. Domingos Maureo stood somewhat misplaced when Gregorio Froylan came free in front of goal and shot 3-0 to the left of him in the 32 minute. German Oliveiro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ciro Goi went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Florentino Xacintu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gregorio Froylan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Domingos Maureo made a huge save. Eleuterio Taurino hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Guillermo Benvido kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gregorio Froylan to make the kick off. If Gregorio Froylan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ciro Ereinotz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Domingos Maureo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gregorio Froylan's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. In the 64th minute, Igor Navarro made a precise shot to the right of Domingos Maureo. Sierra de la Ventana's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. Ciro Ereinotz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domingos Maureo having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Gregorio Froylan put it in 6-1 from a short distance just to the right of Domingos Maureo. After having played for 74 minutes, Florentino Xacintu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Logroño's supporters crossed their fingers, but Florentino Xacintu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adolfo Quirze in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Domingos Maureo saved Sierra de la Ventana from getting behind. Domingos Maureo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ismael Martino went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-1 was the resulting score. Domingos Maureo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adolfo Quirze's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. Florentino Xacintu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Sierra de la Ventana's zone, Adolfo Quirze stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Domingos Maureo came out of the goal and Adolfo Quirze tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Logroño's German Oliveiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aaron Egoitz in the 88th minute of play. Adolfo Quirze received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Domingos Maureo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 93 minutes into the game, Igor Navarro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Logroño's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sierra de la Ventana the free kick. Adolfo Quirze's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Domingos Maureo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Logroño players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
