Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 10) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Carolo Perrando got the match started through his kick off. Carolo Perrando received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Roque Lawrence tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Hugo Txurio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Donato Santiago had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Jarill getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Rigoberto Derwin hit a great ball. Donato Santiago sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristobal Manny made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hugo Txurio in the 20th minute of play. Donato Santiago took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cristobal Manny. Cristobal Manny dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Carolo Perrando kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. When INDEPENDIENTE's Donato Santiago in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Jarill's goalie prevented a goal. Cristobal Manny took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donato Santiago, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, INDEPENDIENTE's Mariano Piearres got a free kick in the 38th minute. In the 44th minute Donato Santiago shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristobal Manny saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The INDEPENDIENTE fans' excitement grew in the 45th match minute when INDEPENDIENTE's Hugo Txurio looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After the first half INDEPENDIENTE were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hugo Txurio to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, one of INDEPENDIENTE:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 55th match minute, INDEPENDIENTE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guido Ilixo to maneuver through the defense. If Cristian Palos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Osvaldo Ongile sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 67 minutes into the match, Jarill's goal looked a bit too open when Hugo Txurio came free, but Cristobal Manny reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 70th minute, Jarill's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Hugo Txurio fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Roque Lawrence made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustavo Laurgain in the 71st minute of play. Cristobal Manny didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 76th minute, which inside left pole to 0-3. If Hugo Txurio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristian Palos in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roque Lawrence prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of INDEPENDIENTE booed when Jarill was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anacleto Mederi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 92nd minute, INDEPENDIENTE's Donato Santiago ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Cristobal Manny. Cristobal Manny yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. The Jarill fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. INDEPENDIENTE were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
