Tadeo Iratzeder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Genaro Gaufred in the 6th minute of the match. 10 minutes into the match, Andalhualá FC's goal looked a bit too open when Genaro Gaufred came free, but Tadeo Iratzeder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Virreyes's Godfredo Kiliz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santo Txartiko in the 15th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Domingos Montae notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Virreyes's Godfredo Kiliz. Godfredo Kiliz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Godfredo Kiliz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jeremias Darien's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. When Jeremias Darien came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Andalhualá FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jeremias Darien couldn't finish the play. Jairo Ostargi kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Virreyes's Godfredo Kiliz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeremias Darien in the 26th minute of play. When Andalhualá FC's Elpidio Felipo in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Tadeo Iratzeder tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jeremias Darien stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Domingos Montae struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Godfredo Kiliz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Andalhualá FC. Godfredo Kiliz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeremias Darien, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. After 57 played minutes Andalhualá FC got a freekick which was hit by Santo Txartiko. 64 minutes into the game, Jeremias Darien recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Godfredo Kiliz. Jeremias Darien showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. After 69 played minutes Virreyes got a freekick which was hit by Jimeno Lazcano. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sergio Oihenarte in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tadeo Iratzeder saved Andalhualá FC from getting behind. 90 minutes into the game, Sergio Oihenarte was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Virreyes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Andalhualá FC the free kick. Sergio Oihenarte hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Genaro Gaufred's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tadeo Iratzeder was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Andalhualá FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
