Ciro Jaunti who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 17thth minute tested the skills of Evelio Bizen when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Rivadavia de Junin's Benedicto Peru got a free kick in the 17th minute. When Mariano Xabier came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the tornado loco fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mariano Xabier couldn't finish the play. Ciro Jaunti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evelio Bizen having to interfere. When Benedicto Peru fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rivadavia de Junin's protests and gave Benedicto Peru a yellow card for diving instead. After 27 played minutes Rivadavia de Junin got a freekick which was hit by Benedicto Peru. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Ciro Jaunti managed to get in a good position for a shot. tornado loco's supporters rose to their feet, but Ciro Jaunti was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Evelio Bizen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rivadavia de Junin's Evelio Bizen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Rivadavia de Junin from getting a goal against them. Mariano Xabier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Evelio Bizen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mariano Xabier's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Evelio Bizen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. In the 42nd minute, Dalmacio Elija hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Rivadavia de Junin's zone, Mariano Xabier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Evelio Bizen came out of the goal and Mariano Xabier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Domingo Jurgi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Abelardo Tajo was relentless in the 49th minute of the game. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mariano Xabier to make the kick off. The tornado loco fans' excitement grew in the 53rd match minute when tornado loco's Ciro Jaunti looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a left leg Evelio Bizen saved Rivadavia de Junin from getting behind. 66 minutes into the game, tornado loco's Mariano Xabier nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Evelio Bizen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sixto Tajo in the 78th minute of play forced tornado loco's goalkeeper Abelardo Tajo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Rivadavia de Junin's Dalmacio Elija got a free kick in the 82nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Rivadavia de Junin's zone, Mariano Xabier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Evelio Bizen came out of the goal and Mariano Xabier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sixto Tajo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rivadavia de Junin's Sixto Tajo got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Ciro Jaunti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Evelio Bizen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Xabier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rivadavia de Junin's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
