Ruperto Nalo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Rodrigo Bernard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 58thth minute of the game Alvaro Salvino who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cachipampa AFC's Honorato Tabb was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cosme Cai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Rodrigo Bernard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ruperto Nalo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cipriano Lixandro's late challenge caught a los pibes del astillero's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cipriano Lixandro helped the player get up and apologised. In the 65th minute, one of Cachipampa AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Cachipampa AFC. After 75 minutes, Leonardo Iraitz made it 4-1 with a short kick to the right side. Cachipampa AFC's Honorato Tabb tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Bernardino Mancio took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 80th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Honorato Tabb. Cachipampa AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Honorato Tabb stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leonardo Iraitz's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. Honorato Tabb showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonardo Iraitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Honorato Tabb took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alvaro Salvino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Faustino Maurino fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cachipampa AFC's protests and gave Faustino Maurino a yellow card for diving instead. The corner led los pibes del astillero's Aristides Suarez to a score. 5-1 in the 94th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 99th minute, Feliciano Perrando managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cachipampa AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Feliciano Perrando was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rodrigo Bernard breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
