Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Anselmo Ramond started the match with the kick off. Ermegildo Rumaldo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eleuterio Gaitano having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Wasyl Smolarek managed to get in a good position for a shot. SAN JOSE FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Wasyl Smolarek was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eleuterio Gaitano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ermegildo Rumaldo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eleuterio Gaitano having to interfere. Wiliam dos Santos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeremias Matthew in the 16th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in SAN JOSE FC's zone, Jeremias Matthew stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wiliam dos Santos came out of the goal and Jeremias Matthew tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eleuterio Gaitano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ermegildo Rumaldo in the 27th minute of the match. Vito Trigo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eleuterio Gaitano having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Defensores del Prado's Abelardo Bastiaro got a free kick in the 31st minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ermegildo Rumaldo in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eleuterio Gaitano saved Defensores del Prado from getting behind. Eleuterio Gaitano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ermegildo Rumaldo, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Ermegildo Rumaldo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Eleuterio Gaitano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cesar Donzel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Wiliam dos Santos made a huge save.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ermegildo Rumaldo made a kick off. Anselmo Ramond took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wiliam dos Santos. Wiliam dos Santos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ermegildo Rumaldo in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eleuterio Gaitano saved Defensores del Prado from getting behind. In the 66thth minute of the game Ermegildo Rumaldo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Defensores del Prado's Eleuterio Gaitano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ermegildo Rumaldo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Eleuterio Gaitano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ermegildo Rumaldo struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Eleuterio Gaitano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SAN JOSE FC. After 74 played minutes Defensores del Prado got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Argenis. SAN JOSE FC's Vito Trigo got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Wiliam dos Santos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Israel Giro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 84 minutes into the match, SAN JOSE FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jeremias Matthew came free, but Wiliam dos Santos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ermegildo Rumaldo in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eleuterio Gaitano saved Defensores del Prado from getting behind. Wasyl Smolarek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ermegildo Rumaldo had several of the Defensores del Prado's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 88 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-2 score and a disappointed Eleuterio Gaitano as he didn't even see the shot coming. The audience was convinced that Ermegildo Rumaldo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eleuterio Gaitano was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. When Ermegildo Rumaldo came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the SAN JOSE FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ermegildo Rumaldo couldn't finish the play. SAN JOSE FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
