But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pablo Ekialde couldn't finish the play. In the 88thth minute of the game Saturnino Loreto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rancagua Junior's Atilano Sansone was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 90th minute Pablo Ekialde shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Atilano Sansone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pablo Ekialde's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Atilano Sansone read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. Saturnino Loreto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 94 minutes, Pablo Ekialde managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atlético Teuly's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pablo Ekialde was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
