Spectators: 7250 (Terracing: 5439, Seating: 1667, VIP seats: 144) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Pastor Betadur started the match with the kick off. The supporters of La buba FC booed when IRON RACING was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pastor Betadur didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 7th minute, Gaston Ixidor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 8 played minutes La buba FC got a freekick which was hit by Bonifacio Bonadona. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anastasio Curcio got free with Narciso Herrera in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dario Oroitz's late challenge caught a IRON RACING's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dario Oroitz helped the player get up and apologised. Dario Oroitz hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Pastor Betadur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Narciso Herrera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zeledon Peter's late challenge caught a La buba FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zeledon Peter helped the player get up and apologised. After 25 played minutes IRON RACING got a freekick which was hit by Zeledon Peter. 33 minutes into the match, IRON RACING's goal looked a bit too open when Ernesto Perez came free, but Abelardo Lugo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Severino Isias struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Abelardo Lugo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La buba FC. If Ernesto Perez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ernesto Perez made a kick off. Abelardo Lugo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaston Ixidor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 57th minute Gaston Ixidor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abelardo Lugo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 65 minutes of play, La buba FC's Severino Isias made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Abelardo Lugo was left in no man's land by his defense there! La buba FC made a substitution. Venancio Gai replaced Dario Oroitz. Ernesto Perez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 84th minute, Maximiliano Alonso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, IRON RACING's Abelardo Lugo got control of the ball when Ernesto Perez tried to sneak it across the goal line.
