Rancagua Junior
Spectators: 7201 (Terracing: 5402, Seating: 1656, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Timoteo Ongile started the match with the kick off. Cristobal Abastas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Atilano Sansone tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dussaud's Gervasio Obano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Timoteo Ongile in the 6th minute of play. Constantino Iigo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gervasio Obano having to interfere. After 19 played minutes Dussaud got a freekick which was hit by Lucio Caradaro. After a defensive mix-up in Rancagua Junior's zone, Gerardo Erauso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Atilano Sansone came out of the goal and Gerardo Erauso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Rancagua Junior's goalkeeper Atilano Sansone, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 34 minutes into the match, Rancagua Junior's goal looked a bit too open when Cristobal Abastas came free, but Atilano Sansone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 35 minutes into the game, Natalio Rius was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rancagua Junior's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dussaud the free kick. A collision led to Rancagua Junior getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Natalio Rius hit a great ball. Timoteo Ongile received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Gervasio Obano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Timoteo Ongile's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gervasio Obano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. Cristobal Abastas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Atilano Sansone stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gerardo Erauso's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. Cristobal Abastas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Atilano Sansone having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Constantino Iigo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Gervasio Obano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gervasio Obano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Constantino Iigo in the 54th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gerardo Erauso got free with Atilano Sansone in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Constantino Iigo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Gervasio Obano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 69 played minutes Rancagua Junior got a freekick which was hit by Gavino Sanduru. Rancagua Junior's Atilano Sansone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristobal Abastas in the 82nd minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, Rancagua Junior's Timoteo Ongile sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gervasio Obano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Rancagua Junior getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Armando Cai hit a great ball. In the 89th minute, Rancagua Junior's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Gerardo Erauso fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After having played for 90 minutes, Cristobal Abastas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dussaud's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristobal Abastas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rancagua Junior's Timoteo Ongile suffered a sore thigh after 92 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Maximiliano Beturian during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 91st minute, one of Dussaud:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Dussaud. Gervasio Obano went to the wrong direction when Honorio Jenaro was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Constantino Iigo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Dussaud had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
