In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ubuntu's goalkeeper Celso Clis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 18 played minutes La buba FC got a freekick which was hit by Severino Isias. In the 23rd match minute, Ubuntu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eloy Goyo to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gaston Ixidor in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Celso Clis saved Ubuntu from getting behind. 62 minutes into the match, Ubuntu's goalkeeper Celso Clis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ernesto Perez. With his leg Celso Clis managed to avoid a goal in the 65thth minute, when La buba FC's Ernesto Perez fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hector Chabier during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ernesto Perez who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 95thth minute tested the skills of Celso Clis when he managed to save the team from getting behind.
