In the 3rd minute, Candido Adrio fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Atilano Sansone, passed just outside the right post. Dalmacio Sal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anguincila AFC's Dalmacio Sal got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Joaquin Froila hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. After having played for 18 minutes, Dalmacio Sal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Anguincila AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dalmacio Sal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rancagua Junior's Atilano Sansone proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Rancagua Junior from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Anguincila AFC's zone, Timoteo Ongile stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Felix Rojelio came out of the goal and Timoteo Ongile tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Timoteo Ongile in the 31st minute of play forced Anguincila AFC's goalkeeper Felix Rojelio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Constantino Iigo in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Felix Rojelio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Atilano Sansone took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Candido Adrio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Candido Adrio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Atilano Sansone having to make a save. Atilano Sansone made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dalmacio Sal in the 48th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Timoteo Ongile to strike the kick off in the second half. Constantino Iigo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Felix Rojelio made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dalmacio Sal in the 55th minute of play forced Rancagua Junior's goalkeeper Atilano Sansone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Constantino Iigo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felix Rojelio having to interfere. Dalmacio Sal struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Atilano Sansone didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Anguincila AFC. Dalmacio Sal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Rancagua Junior getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Armando Cai hit a great ball. In the 71st minute, Candido Adrio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Timoteo Ongile blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Felix Rojelio having to make a save. If Dalmacio Sal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Candido Adrio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Atilano Sansone tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 83rd minute, Joaquin Froila hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Candido Adrio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Anguincila AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Candido Adrio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Atilano Sansone breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rancagua Junior's Constantino Iigo got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
