With a little luck, Chacarita Juniors's Dante Balendin got control of the ball when Isidro Gonsalvo tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 10thth minute of the game Gaston Blanco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Innatalidad's Isaias Quintana was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Innatalidad's Elpidio Buinton got a free kick in the 14th minute. After having played for 18 minutes, Gaston Blanco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chacarita Juniors's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gaston Blanco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 19 minutes into the match, Innatalidad's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelo Koldo came free, but Isaias Quintana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Victor Bastia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Isidro Gonsalvo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Chacarita Juniors getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Placido Luke hit a great ball. In the 33rd minute, Amancio Alonso reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Dante Balendin. The goal made the score 1-0. In the 38th minute, Alvaro Eztebe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 44 minutes into the match, Innatalidad's Victor Bastia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dante Balendin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Flavio Furman came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Innatalidad fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Flavio Furman couldn't finish the play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gaston Blanco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A sloppy throw-in by Casimiro Rexino in the 51st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Innatalidad's Flavio Furman. The throw-in from Bernardino Bladi in the 53rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Innatalidad's Ernesto Meder. Dante Balendin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor Bastia in the 55th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marcelo Koldo during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 66th match minute, Chacarita Juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Casimiro Rexino to maneuver through the defense. 70 minutes into the match, Chacarita Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Victor Bastia came free, but Dante Balendin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dante Balendin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Flavio Furman's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. Celso Cerilo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Dante Balendin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Victor Bastia took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dante Balendin. Dante Balendin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. If Victor Bastia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Innatalidad fully deserved thier win.
