When Rolando Maore fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored La Mano de Dios's protests and gave Rolando Maore a yellow card for diving instead. In the 14th minute, Rolando Maore hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Isidro Gonsalvo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelino Tono having to interfere. If Isidro Gonsalvo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to La Mano de Dios getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Marcos Gervaso hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Innatalidad's Victor Bastia slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Angelino Tono. That made the score 2-0 after 31 minutes of play. After 34 played minutes La Mano de Dios got a freekick which was hit by Gogo Gonsalve. Amancio Alonso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Ernesto Meder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ernesto Meder sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 43rd minute, Victor Bastia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 45 minutes into the match, La Mano de Dios's goalkeeper Angelino Tono had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Isidro Gonsalvo. Flavio Furman might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Angelino Tono. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Flavio Furman ran back to his position shaking his head. 48 minutes in the game, Victor Bastia fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Angelino Tono having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Victor Bastia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A nice corner shot did that Amancio Alonso got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Angelino Tono quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Flavio Furman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Victor Bastia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 63 minutes into the game, Innatalidad's Victor Bastia nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Angelino Tono made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Victor Bastia might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Angelino Tono. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Victor Bastia ran back to his position shaking his head. Amancio Alonso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelino Tono having to interfere. After 73 played minutes Innatalidad got a freekick which was hit by Flavio Furman. In the 78th minute, Victor Bastia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Angelino Tono was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. The supporters of La Mano de Dios booed when Innatalidad was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernesto Meder didn't get a good kick on the ball. Flavio Furman hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. After having played for 90 minutes, Victor Bastia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Innatalidad's supporters crossed their fingers, but Victor Bastia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. La Mano de Dios's Angelino Tono played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victor Bastia in the 94th minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, Innatalidad's Victor Bastia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Angelino Tono narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gogo Gonsalve received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Isaias Quintana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Innatalidad walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
