Aurelio Indar hit a great ball. If Elvio Chico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the La Mano de Dios defense, Ambrosio Erasto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Angelino Tono. The La Mano de Dios fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Angelino Tono should have stopped the shot. 24 minutes into the game, Gogo Gonsalve cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Anier Innocenzio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Marcelo Vachon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Anier Innocenzio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Guillermo Guerrero hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. Anier Innocenzio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcos Gervaso went, in the 49th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ambrosio Erasto made a kick off. 56 minutes into the match, Choya's goal looked a bit too open when Gogo Gonsalve came free, but Anier Innocenzio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Choya's Anier Innocenzio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gogo Gonsalve in the 59th minute of play. When Elvio Chico came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the La Mano de Dios fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elvio Chico couldn't finish the play. Anier Innocenzio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gogo Gonsalve in the 62nd minute of play. Ambrosio Erasto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ambrosio Erasto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Angelino Tono showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ambrosio Erasto, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Elvio Chico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anier Innocenzio having to interfere. Choya's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. La Mano de Dios's Angelino Tono played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ambrosio Erasto in the 94th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Choya's Ambrosio Erasto slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Angelino Tono. That made the score 2-4 after 98 minutes of play. When the match was over Choya could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than La Mano de Dios throughout the match.
