Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Godofredo Pirmin came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the SanLo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Godofredo Pirmin couldn't finish the play. Rodolfo Sotil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Denis Peter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Virgilio Flores received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Eustacio Gipuzkoa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 12 minutes into the game, Alvaro Jordy was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SanLo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Garrison FC the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 12th minute of the game. One of SanLo:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Garrison FC:s goal. Virgilio Flores sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Virgilio Flores took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eustacio Gipuzkoa. Eustacio Gipuzkoa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. If Godofredo Pirmin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Garrison FC's zone, Efrain Teofilio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodolfo Sotil came out of the goal and Efrain Teofilio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. SanLo's Godofredo Pirmin got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Virgilio Flores fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eustacio Gipuzkoa having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Arnoldo Madaleno hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. In the 52nd minute, Artemio Pello sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and SanLo's Eustacio Gipuzkoa didn't even have to move. Ricardo Guter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eustacio Gipuzkoa having to interfere. Virgilio Flores received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Eustacio Gipuzkoa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Garrison FC's Rodolfo Sotil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Denis Peter in the 74th minute of play. When Emanuel Obano fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Garrison FC's protests and gave Emanuel Obano a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of SanLo booed when Garrison FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuel Obano didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 80th minute, Adan Socorro sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Garrison FC's Rodolfo Sotil didn't even have to move. Rodolfo Sotil was a little too slow when Denis Peter got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 86th minute. The score was now 2-1. If Denis Peter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 96 minutes into the match, Ricardo Guter had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eustacio Gipuzkoa. SanLo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ricardo Guter was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. SanLo's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Garrison FC had won, even though SanLo had held more of the ball.
