When Marcelo Astrada fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Anguinán's protests and gave Marcelo Astrada a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Anguinán getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. With a left leg Rodolfo Sotil saved Garrison FC from getting behind. Rodolfo Sotil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Travis Hinson in the 74th minute of play. Cirilo Cuarto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Rodolfo Sotil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cirilo Cuarto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 80 minutes, Tome Cambero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Anguinán's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tome Cambero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Cirilo Cuarto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rodolfo Sotil was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game.
