Froilan Estefan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Godofredo Pirmin in the 6th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Godofredo Pirmin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Froilan Estefan was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cecilio Luke during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Belgrano de p.i's Cecilio Luke got a free kick in the 9th minute. Godofredo Pirmin struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Froilan Estefan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SanLo. 13 minutes into the match, Belgrano de p.i's goal looked a bit too open when Denis Peter came free, but Froilan Estefan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 0-1 became the score in the 16th minute when Godofredo Pirmin elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 20th minute Serafin Abaunza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eustacio Gipuzkoa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 23 minutes, Adan Socorro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SanLo and the Belgrano de p.i players grew even worse after the yellow card. 23 minutes into the game, one of SanLo:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Zacarias Berdaitz shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Efrain Teofilio hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Godofredo Pirmin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Froilan Estefan having to interfere. Godofredo Pirmin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Froilan Estefan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Evelio Sanchez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Eustacio Gipuzkoa made a huge save. Belgrano de p.i's Froilan Estefan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Denis Peter in the 45th minute of play. Cecilio Luke got his second yellow card in the match during the 45th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 46th minute, Cecilio Luke hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Evelio Sanchez made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Evelio Sanchez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Belgrano de p.i's supporters rose to their feet, but Evelio Sanchez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eustacio Gipuzkoa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Denis Peter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Belgrano de p.i's goalkeeper Froilan Estefan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Denis Peter, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 80 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Froilan Estefan was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Denis Peter recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Froilan Estefan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denis Peter in the 87th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Denis Peter in the 91st minute of play forced Belgrano de p.i's goalkeeper Froilan Estefan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Evelio Sanchez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Belgrano de p.i booed when SanLo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnoldo Madaleno didn't get a good kick on the ball. SanLo's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
