Garrison FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ballester FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Garrison FC's Ricardo Guter got a free kick in the 4th minute. Conrado Izel struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Rodolfo Sotil didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ballester FC. Conrado Izel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodolfo Sotil having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aldo Cordarell in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rodolfo Sotil saved Garrison FC from getting behind. When Aldo Cordarell came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Ballester FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aldo Cordarell couldn't finish the play. In the 35th minute, Ricardo Guter got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Conrado Izel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rodolfo Sotil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aldo Cordarell in the 41st minute of play. Ballester FC's Conrado Izel got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

In the 52nd minute, Conrado Izel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 57th minute, Aldo Cordarell got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Conrado Izel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 60th minute, Ricardo Guter left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Garrison FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. 65 minutes into the match, Garrison FC's goalkeeper Rodolfo Sotil had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aldo Cordarell. After having played for 67 minutes, Aldo Cordarell managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ballester FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aldo Cordarell was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 69th minute, Conrado Izel fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Aldo Cordarell might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rodolfo Sotil. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aldo Cordarell ran back to his position shaking his head. Aldo Cordarell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Garrison FC's zone, Julian Dodorol stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodolfo Sotil came out of the goal and Julian Dodorol tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Aldo Cordarell managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ballester FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Aldo Cordarell was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rodolfo Sotil breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aldo Cordarell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Conrado Izel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Rodolfo Sotil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 87th minute there was a penalty for Ballester FC. Dario Vigil stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Rodolfo Sotil. 1-1. Artemio Pello's late challenge caught a Ballester FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Artemio Pello helped the player get up and apologised. Artemio Pello hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. The long shot by Dario Vigil in the 94th minute really tested Rodolfo Sotil's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. A collision led to Garrison FC getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Jose Berenguer hit a great ball. Ballester FC were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
