Gaston Harriet hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Deportivo Esquel's Nereo Matia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Deportivo Esquel from getting a goal against them. Salvador Regis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Eustacio Gipuzkoa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Salvador Regis in the 17th minute of play forced SanLo's goalkeeper Eustacio Gipuzkoa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Candido Su fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eustacio Gipuzkoa having to interfere. If Salvador Regis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eustacio Gipuzkoa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Salvador Regis in the 24th minute of the match. In the 25th minute Candido Su shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eustacio Gipuzkoa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 34 played minutes, Deportivo Esquel's Virgilio Thomas shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Eustacio Gipuzkoa came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Deportivo Esquel reached it. With an all-out effort, SanLo's Nereo Matia threw himself towards the right post 36 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Denis Peter, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Godofredo Pirmin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Denis Peter to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Candido Su got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Godofredo Pirmin kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Nereo Matia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Godofredo Pirmin in the 66th minute of play. In the 66th minute, Godofredo Pirmin made a precise shot to the right of Nereo Matia. Deportivo Esquel's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. A collision led to Deportivo Esquel getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Ciro Arotza hit a great ball. Salvador Regis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Godofredo Pirmin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nereo Matia having to interfere. 88 minutes into the match, Godofredo Pirmin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nereo Matia. Deportivo Esquel's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Godofredo Pirmin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. SanLo had won after a very even match.
