Spectators: 7185 (Terracing: 5391, Seating: 1652, VIP seats: 142) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Arsenio Guillerme got the match started through his kick off. Isidoro Estefan kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo Peroné's zone, Virgilio Flores stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacinto Nel came out of the goal and Virgilio Flores tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 6 minutes into the game, one of Deportivo Peroné:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 14th minute of the game. One of Garrison FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Deportivo Peroné:s goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arsenio Guillerme in the 17th minute of play forced Garrison FC's goalkeeper Rodolfo Sotil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Virgilio Flores could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Jacinto Nel made a huge save. Candido Madeo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rodolfo Sotil read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arsenio Guillerme in the 29th minute of play forced Garrison FC's goalkeeper Rodolfo Sotil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jose Berenguer might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jacinto Nel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jose Berenguer ran back to his position shaking his head. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Ricardo Guter struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Jacinto Nel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Garrison FC. After having played for 61 minutes, Arsenio Guillerme managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo Peroné's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arsenio Guillerme was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 64 minutes into the match, Deportivo Peroné's goal looked a bit too open when Virgilio Flores came free, but Jacinto Nel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jacinto Nel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Virgilio Flores's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. If Candido Madeo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arsenio Guillerme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Garrison FC's Rodolfo Sotil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arsenio Guillerme in the 74th minute of play. Candido Madeo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Garrison FC's Emanuel Obano got a free kick in the 85th minute. 88 minutes had been played when some careless play by Garrison FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Filiberto Dolcet was slow to take the kick. During this time Deportivo Peroné's players had a chance to rest. Candido Madeo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
