In the 14th minute, Angelino Suero sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and BOMBAY SAPPHIRE's Primitivo Manex didn't even have to move. After 15 minutes, Agustin Erlantz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the BOMBAY SAPPHIRE and the Chizap Internacional FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 15th minute, Agustin Erlantz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 19th minute, Serafino Abechuco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Primitivo Manex showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guillermo Tirso in the 20th minute of the match. Serafino Abechuco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Primitivo Manex made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Godofredo Sanson in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marco Matteo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. BOMBAY SAPPHIRE's Ulises Iraitz got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Primitivo Manex showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guillermo Tirso in the 31st minute of the match. If Serafino Abechuco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 34 played minutes BOMBAY SAPPHIRE got a freekick which was hit by Agustin Erlantz. 36 minutes into the match, Guillermo Tirso had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Primitivo Manex. BOMBAY SAPPHIRE's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Guillermo Tirso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Godofredo Sanson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Godofredo Sanson made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Chizap Internacional FC booed when BOMBAY SAPPHIRE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Segundo Quintan hit a great ball. After some careless play in the BOMBAY SAPPHIRE defense, Guillermo Tirso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Primitivo Manex. The BOMBAY SAPPHIRE fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Primitivo Manex should have stopped the shot. If Serafino Abechuco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Primitivo Manex took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guillermo Tirso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the BOMBAY SAPPHIRE defense, Guillermo Tirso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Primitivo Manex. The BOMBAY SAPPHIRE fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Primitivo Manex should have stopped the shot.
