The throw-in from Isaias Innocenzio in the 7th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Barreal's Isidoro Fix. An unexpectedly hard shot by Casimiro Mambru in the 9th minute of play forced Chingolo CITY's goalkeeper Jesus Sancho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 10th minute Ruben Francis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jesus Sancho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 14 played minutes Barreal got a freekick which was hit by Benigno Favila. After having played for 18 minutes, Casimiro Mambru managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barreal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Casimiro Mambru was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Casimiro Mambru in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jesus Sancho saved Chingolo CITY from getting behind. 21 minutes into the game, Siro Mero was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chingolo CITY's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Barreal the free kick. When Casimiro Mambru came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Barreal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Casimiro Mambru couldn't finish the play. In the 29th minute, Gabriel Lauaxeta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 33rd match minute, Chingolo CITY was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabriel Lauaxeta to maneuver through the defense. Casimiro Mambru blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jesus Sancho having to make a save. Jesus Sancho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Casimiro Mambru in the 41st minute of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Casimiro Mambru to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes in the game, Lisandro Estevez fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Jesus Sancho having to interfere. With 63 minutes on the clock, Filiberto Quintana commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 62 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Barreal! An unexpectedly hard shot by Eustaquio Thomas in the 69th minute of play forced Barreal's goalkeeper Nemesio Porfirio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Barreal's attack was well implemented in the 74th minute, but when Isidoro Fix was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. After a rather tough play, Barreal's Benigno Favila got a free kick in the 77th minute. Leopoldo Valery kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Jesus Sancho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leopoldo Valery, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Lisandro Estevez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gaston Cresconio took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 98th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Nemesio Porfirio. Barreal's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Barreal's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Chingolo CITY had won, even though Barreal had held more of the ball.
