Silvestre Dalmai didn't get a good kick on the ball. 28 minutes into the match, Salto's goal looked a bit too open when Omar Kiliz came free, but Diego Dimas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 29 played minutes Salto got a freekick which was hit by Mauro Francesco. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fernando Valente in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. Diego Dimas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Salto's Silvestre Dalmai got a free kick in the 37th minute. 43 minutes into the match, Timoteo Feliz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Diego Dimas. Salto's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Timoteo Feliz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Omar Kiliz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A hard shot 87 in the game by Timoteo Feliz from a close distance when the talented Diego Dimas managed to make a qualified save. Salto's players were relieved. If Timoteo Feliz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Silvestre Dalmai hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Timoteo Feliz who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 93rdth minute tested the skills of Diego Dimas when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 94th minute Omar Kiliz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diego Dimas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Timoteo Feliz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 99th minute of the match Cipriano Jeraldo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Diego Dimas skillfully saved the ball.
