Spectators: 6669 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1669, VIP seats: 0) Barreal's Casimiro Mambru started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Barreal's Niceto Estavan got a free kick in the 3rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Casimiro Mambru in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Silvestre Garcia saved Racing Club from getting behind. After having played for 16 minutes, Ruben Francis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barreal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ruben Francis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice moves Fernan Deunoro could shoot a difficult shot in the 18th minute, which Nemesio Porfirio however easily saved by the left post. Ruben Francis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Silvestre Garcia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Casimiro Mambru in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Silvestre Garcia saved Racing Club from getting behind. Nemesio Porfirio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Esteban Cordeara, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. After a rather tough play, Barreal's Leopoldo Valery got a free kick in the 26th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Racing Club's zone, Ruben Francis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silvestre Garcia came out of the goal and Ruben Francis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 39th minute Casimiro Mambru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvestre Garcia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 42 minutes into the match, Casimiro Mambru notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Racing Club's Silvestre Garcia. Silvestre Garcia was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 47thth minute of the game Casimiro Mambru who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Racing Club's Silvestre Garcia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Anselmo Machado was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th match minute, Racing Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anselmo Machado to maneuver through the defense. Barreal's Nemesio Porfirio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anselmo Machado in the 56th minute of play. 58 minutes into the match, Barreal's goal looked a bit too open when Fernan Deunoro came free, but Nemesio Porfirio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Casimiro Mambru could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Silvestre Garcia made a huge save. Silvestre Garcia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lisandro Estevez in the 64th minute of play. Silvestre Garcia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Casimiro Mambru's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. In the 67th minute of the match Vicente Bautista sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nemesio Porfirio skillfully saved the ball. Nemesio Porfirio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anselmo Machado in the 68th minute of play. In the 70th minute, Casimiro Mambru got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ruben Francis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvestre Garcia having to interfere. Casimiro Mambru had several of the Racing Club's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 86 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-3 score and a disappointed Silvestre Garcia as he didn't even see the shot coming. Barreal's Nemesio Porfirio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anselmo Machado in the 95th minute of play.
