Spectators: 7009 (Terracing: 5409, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 100) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Godofredo Sanson started the match with the kick off. Maquinchao FC's Ramon Ondino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Maquinchao FC from getting a goal against them. Teodosio Goi hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gogo Iban in the 14th minute of play forced BOMBAY SAPPHIRE's goalkeeper Primitivo Manex to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Godofredo Sanson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramon Ondino having to interfere. With a little luck, Maquinchao FC's Ramon Ondino got control of the ball when Ulises Iraitz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Primitivo Manex made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Platon in the 23rd minute of play. Agustin Erlantz kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. In the 33rd minute, Gogo Iban made a precise shot to the right of Primitivo Manex. BOMBAY SAPPHIRE's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in BOMBAY SAPPHIRE's zone, Diego Platon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Primitivo Manex came out of the goal and Diego Platon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Diego Platon struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Primitivo Manex didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Maquinchao FC. Ramon Ondino made a fantastic save in the 48th minute, when Ulises Iraitz sent off a good shot on target.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Diego Platon made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Leon Abreu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Primitivo Manex. The goal made the score 0-2. Diego Platon struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Primitivo Manex didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Maquinchao FC. Primitivo Manex stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Diego Platon's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Platon in the 67th minute of play forced BOMBAY SAPPHIRE's goalkeeper Primitivo Manex to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Albano Eleazar made a great header on Maquinchao FC's corner, it was just that BOMBAY SAPPHIRE's Primitivo Manex managed to reach the ball for a save. Ramon Ondino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Segundo Quintan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maquinchao FC's Ramon Ondino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Godofredo Sanson in the 86th minute of play. In the 87th minute Ulises Iraitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramon Ondino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. BOMBAY SAPPHIRE's Primitivo Manex played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Platon in the 89th minute of play. The Maquinchao FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Maquinchao FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
