In the 13th minute, Filiberto Quintana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Barreal fans' excitement grew in the 15th match minute when Barreal's Casimiro Mambru looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 18th minute, Lucas Fernanco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 20th minute, Casimiro Mambru ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luciano Lohitzun was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Casimiro Mambru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luciano Lohitzun having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Casimiro Mambru managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barreal's supporters rose to their feet, but Casimiro Mambru was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luciano Lohitzun breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nemesio Porfirio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgard Beti in the 30th minute of play. A collision led to Sozaito guazo fc getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Lucas Fernanco hit a great ball. With his leg Luciano Lohitzun managed to avoid a goal in the 32ndth minute, when Barreal's Casimiro Mambru fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After having played for 36 minutes, Casimiro Mambru managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barreal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Casimiro Mambru was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Sozaito guazo fc's Luciano Lohitzun got control of the ball when Casimiro Mambru tried to sneak it across the goal line. 43 minutes into the match, Barreal's goal looked a bit too open when Lucas Fernanco came free, but Nemesio Porfirio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lucas Fernanco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Edgard Beti made a precise shot to the right of Nemesio Porfirio. Barreal's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Casimiro Mambru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luciano Lohitzun having to interfere. When Barreal's Casimiro Mambru in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sozaito guazo fc's goalie prevented a goal. Ruben Francis struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Luciano Lohitzun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lisandro Estevez, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Casimiro Mambru kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Casimiro Mambru struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Luciano Lohitzun didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barreal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Casimiro Mambru in the 87th minute of play forced Sozaito guazo fc's goalkeeper Luciano Lohitzun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 91 minutes, the score became 5-1 when Casimiro Mambru sped through Sozaito guazo fc's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Luciano Lohitzun. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Barreal fully deserved thier win.
