Mario Geofredo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Omar Kiliz in the 36th minute of the match. Timoteo Feliz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 41 minutes into the game, Icaño FC's Omar Kiliz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mario Geofredo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. A collision led to 11delLeon getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Bartolo Mirande hit a great ball. Timoteo Feliz struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Mario Geofredo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Icaño FC. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Omar Kiliz to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Omar Kiliz in the 52nd minute of play forced 11delLeon's goalkeeper Mario Geofredo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 11delLeon's Mario Geofredo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vladimiro Ascencio in the 55th minute of play. Rafael Iruinea kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. 61 minutes into the game, Ceferino Berriotxoa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. 11delLeon's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Icaño FC the free kick. 62 minutes into the match, Icaño FC's Denis Orkatz broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. If Omar Kiliz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Timoteo Feliz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mario Geofredo having to interfere. 81 minutes into the match, Damaso Marko had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Amancio Richie. Icaño FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Damaso Marko was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. Vladimiro Ascencio charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vladimiro Ascencio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of 11delLeon booed when Icaño FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vladimiro Ascencio didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Omar Kiliz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vladimiro Ascencio got free with Mario Geofredo in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Icaño FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
