When Americo Santiago fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sozaito guazo fc's protests and gave Americo Santiago a yellow card for diving instead. Americo Santiago hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ulises Iraitz in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luciano Lohitzun saved Sozaito guazo fc from getting behind. In the 31st match minute, Sozaito guazo fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgard Beti to maneuver through the defense. Lucas Fernanco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Primitivo Manex tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sozaito guazo fc's goalkeeper Luciano Lohitzun, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sozaito guazo fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edgard Beti was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
