Deportivo Chaco's Emiliano Iban proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Deportivo Chaco from getting a goal against them. After 15 minutes Deportivo Chaco's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Eugenio Peyo who took care of the corner kick. If Victorio Mikolas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 22nd minute, Benito Enaut got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 24th minute Diego Licerio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erasmo Sugoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amadeo Bermudez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erasmo Sugoi having to interfere. When Amadeo Bermudez fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Deportivo Chaco's protests and gave Amadeo Bermudez a yellow card for diving instead. In the 73rd minute of the match Patricio Lander sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Erasmo Sugoi skillfully saved the ball.
