Silvestre Sergi succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 19th playminute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hilario Vedillo in the 23rd minute of play forced C.A. Leo Messi's goalkeeper Angelino Haimar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leo Messi's Braulio Abeitia got a free kick in the 34th minute. In the 34th minute, Roque Cefero sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and C.A. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Delmar Obeko was the one to do the kick off. When Delmar Obeko came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the C.A. Leo Messi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Delmar Obeko couldn't finish the play. Silvestre Sergi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Zorbas fc's Melquiades Leoncio got a free kick in the 55th minute. 58 minutes into the match, Zorbas fc's goal looked a bit too open when Delmar Obeko came free, but Justo Su reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Angelino Haimar made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Lucas Lopes sent off a good shot on target. After 62 minutes, Gogo Manuelo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zorbas fc and the C.A. Leo Messi players grew even worse after the yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Lucas Lopes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zorbas fc's supporters rose to their feet, but Lucas Lopes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Angelino Haimar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lucas Lopes who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 70thth minute tested the skills of Angelino Haimar when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in C.A. Leo Messi's zone, Lucas Lopes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Angelino Haimar came out of the goal and Lucas Lopes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 77 minutes into the match, Delmar Obeko notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Zorbas fc's Justo Su. Justo Su was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Zorbas fc's Lucas Lopes got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Justo Su showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvestre Sergi, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The C.A. Leo Messi fans cheered their team off the field, for while Zorbas fc had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
