Monterroca's Aurelio Cebrian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matias Arnalt in the 4th minute of play. Reynaldo Colon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Aurelio Cebrian made a huge save. Godofredo Frichoso charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Godofredo Frichoso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Monterroca getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Godofredo Frichoso hit a great ball. Federico Hegoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aurelio Cebrian having to interfere. Placido Perfecto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Godofredo Frichoso in the 14th minute of play. Braulio Mano kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. In the 20th minute, Godofredo Frichoso made a precise shot to the right of Placido Perfecto. Chuquis AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Placido Perfecto came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Monterroca's Godofredo Frichoso. But to his dismay, Godofredo Frichoso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Cipriano Naelio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 37th minute, Juan Palban reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Aurelio Cebrian. The goal made the score 3-2. Juan Palban received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Aurelio Cebrian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Matias Arnalt's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aurelio Cebrian was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. Placido Perfecto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Horacio Paublo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Matias Arnalt to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Cipriano Naelio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aurelio Cebrian. Monterroca's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cipriano Naelio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. After having played for 58 minutes, Juan Palban managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chuquis AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juan Palban was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Matias Arnalt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chuquis AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Matias Arnalt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aurelio Cebrian breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Reynaldo Colon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Chuquis AFC's Matias Arnalt in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Monterroca's goalie prevented a goal. Aurelio Cebrian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reynaldo Colon in the 75th minute of play. Aurelio Cebrian stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Matias Arnalt's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. Aurelio Cebrian didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cipriano Naelio went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-2 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Matias Arnalt in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aurelio Cebrian saved Monterroca from getting behind. Placido Perfecto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Godofredo Frichoso in the 87th minute. Aurelio Cebrian didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cipriano Naelio went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-2 was the resulting score. When Chuquis AFC's Matias Arnalt in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Monterroca's goalie prevented a goal. 96 minutes into the match, Horacio Paublo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Placido Perfecto. Chuquis AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Horacio Paublo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-3.
