The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Quilmes Atlético Club's goal looked a bit too open when Victorio Mikolas came free, but Adrian Tomi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 6th minute Benito Enaut shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrian Tomi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 10 minutes of play, PoPote's Victorio Mikolas made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Adrian Tomi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fabricio Eztebe struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Erasmo Sugoi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Quilmes Atlético Club. Fabricio Eztebe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 30 minutes into the match, Quilmes Atlético Club's goal looked a bit too open when Victorio Mikolas came free, but Adrian Tomi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 34 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Benito Enaut sped through Quilmes Atlético Club's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Adrian Tomi. 44 minutes into the match, PoPote's goal looked a bit too open when Fabricio Eztebe came free, but Erasmo Sugoi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. PoPote's Benito Enaut got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Quilmes Atlético Club players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. PoPote were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Victorio Mikolas made a kick off. PoPote's Erasmo Sugoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabricio Eztebe in the 57th minute of play. Adrian Tomi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victorio Mikolas, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. In the 62nd minute, Maximo Calisto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benito Enaut sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Quilmes Atlético Club's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Victorio Mikolas 65 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-3. A collision led to PoPote getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Americo Nofre hit a great ball. In the 71st minute, Guillermo Jenaro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 74th minute, PoPote's Benito Enaut dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. After having played for 85 minutes, Fabricio Eztebe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Quilmes Atlético Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabricio Eztebe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Camilo Silvino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erasmo Sugoi having to interfere. Fabricio Eztebe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fabricio Eztebe in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Erasmo Sugoi saved PoPote from getting behind. The supporters of Quilmes Atlético Club booed when PoPote was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ismael Quirze didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Camilo Silvino in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Erasmo Sugoi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. PoPote's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
