The referee ignored Deportivo Chaco's protests and gave Fulgencio Javiar a yellow card for diving instead. Fulgencio Javiar kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. When Danilo Jorrin fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Independiente Boedense's protests and gave Danilo Jorrin a yellow card for diving instead. In the 10th match minute, Independiente Boedense was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Danilo Jorrin to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Amadeo Bermudez got free with Silvano Indartsu in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Amadeo Bermudez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Silvano Indartsu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 44th match minute, Deportivo Chaco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Melchor Bernat to maneuver through the defense. After 47 played minutes Deportivo Chaco got a freekick which was hit by Melchor Bernat. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hernan Bazil to strike the kick off in the second half. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
