Aurelio Cebrian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ceferino Esquipula, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. In the 13th minute, Horacio Paublo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gerardo Emesto was a little too slow when Horacio Paublo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 23rd minute. The score was now 1-0. Horacio Paublo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Gerardo Emesto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Braulio Mano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Monterroca's supporters rose to their feet, but Braulio Mano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gerardo Emesto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fabian Lidon charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fabian Lidon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Monterroca booed when Chañarmullo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabian Lidon didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Horacio Paublo in the 39th minute of play forced Chañarmullo FC's goalkeeper Gerardo Emesto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Tomas Iago fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chañarmullo FC's protests and gave Tomas Iago a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Monterroca booed when Chañarmullo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomas Iago didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Iago made a kick off. Aurelio Cebrian made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Tomas Iago sent off a good shot on target. Christian Rafel's late challenge caught a Monterroca's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Christian Rafel helped the player get up and apologised. In the 56th minute of the match Osvaldo Garoa sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gerardo Emesto skillfully saved the ball. Gerardo Emesto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horacio Paublo, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. If Braulio Mano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Monterroca getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Godofredo Frichoso hit a great ball. 76 minutes into the match, Chañarmullo FC's Ceferino Esquipula sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aurelio Cebrian narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Aurelio Cebrian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Omar Noe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Ceferino Esquipula had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
