Spectators: 7248 (Terracing: 5437, Seating: 1667, VIP seats: 144) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Tomas Iago got the match started through his kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leo Su during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 4 played minutes, PoPote's Eugenio Peyo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gerardo Emesto came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in PoPote reached it. 6 minutes into the game, Americo Nofre was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. PoPote's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chañarmullo FC the free kick. Americo Nofre kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Chañarmullo FC's supporters stood up full of expectation in the 8th minute of the game, when Leo Su after an extraordinary solo performance found himself with a golden opportunity in front of PoPote's goal. Leo Su was unfortunally a little to anxious and the ball went outside the goal. The supporters of Chañarmullo FC booed when PoPote was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cleto Berart didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Iago in the 11th minute of play forced PoPote's goalkeeper Erasmo Sugoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 20 minutes of play, Chañarmullo FC's Tomas Iago made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Erasmo Sugoi was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Tomas Iago had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. PoPote's Victorio Mikolas got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Erasmo Sugoi was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Tomas Iago showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 34 minute of play. In the 39th minute Benito Enaut shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerardo Emesto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Leo Su was shown his second yellow card after 50 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 57 played minutes Chañarmullo FC got a freekick which was hit by Fabian Lidon. With a little luck, Chañarmullo FC's Gerardo Emesto got control of the ball when Benito Enaut tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Ceferino Esquipula came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Chañarmullo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ceferino Esquipula couldn't finish the play. Tomas Iago recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ismael Quirze charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ismael Quirze the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ismael Quirze hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. In the 70th minute, Benito Enaut got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 74 minutes into the match, PoPote's Victorio Mikolas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gerardo Emesto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Omar Noe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chañarmullo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Omar Noe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erasmo Sugoi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Omar Noe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 80 minutes into the match, PoPote's Victorio Mikolas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gerardo Emesto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Victorio Mikolas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Victorio Mikolas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerardo Emesto having to interfere. Gerardo Emesto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victorio Mikolas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. PoPote's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
