The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With his leg Igor Cebo managed to avoid a goal in the 5thth minute, when Chañarmullo FC's Ceferino Esquipula fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ceferino Esquipula succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 12th playminute. If Tomas Iago had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ceferino Esquipula could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Igor Cebo made a huge save. After 18th play minutes Tomas Iago shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Igor Cebo and just under the crossbar into goal. If Aureliano Baldovino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Chañarmullo FC booed when Gerli was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aureliano Baldovino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ceferino Esquipula fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Igor Cebo having to interfere. When Aureliano Baldovino came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Gerli fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aureliano Baldovino couldn't finish the play. Aureliano Baldovino struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Gerardo Emesto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gerli. With a little luck, Gerli's Igor Cebo got control of the ball when Ceferino Esquipula tried to sneak it across the goal line. 47 minutes into the game, Tomas Iago recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Igor Cebo. Tomas Iago showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aureliano Baldovino to strike the kick off in the second half. Igor Cebo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Iago, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. After 56 minutes, Delmar Bela mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gerli and the Chañarmullo FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 56 played minutes Gerli got a freekick which was hit by Delmar Bela. Ceferino Esquipula received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Igor Cebo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Igor Cebo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ceferino Esquipula, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Tomas Iago received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Igor Cebo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tomas Iago sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gerardo Emesto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Delmar Bela in the 83rd minute of the match. In the 86th minute, Ceferino Esquipula made a precise shot to the right of Igor Cebo. Gerli's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. In the 89th minute, Tomas Iago ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Igor Cebo was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Gerardo Emesto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aureliano Baldovino in the 92nd minute of play. Aureliano Baldovino struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Gerardo Emesto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gerli. Dalmacio Rafel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerardo Emesto having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Gerli players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Chañarmullo FC.
