Anastasio Gonsalvo made in the 19th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Lauti y Simon's Nunez Oskitz. Evelio Gorosti's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cecilio Bortzaioriz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. In the 23rd minute of the game Hugo Quinto made a throw-in which Remigio Harri played forward. Armando Umea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 29 minutes, Esteve Boniel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lauti y Simon's supporters crossed their fingers, but Esteve Boniel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The throw-in from Wilfredo Esiquio in the 32nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Lauti y Simon's Rolando Aires. In the 35th minute Rolando Rocio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Criston saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nunez Oskitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rolando Aires fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Criston having to interfere. Viejo Potrero FC's Manuel Criston played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rolando Aires in the 41st minute of play. Rolando Aires recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rolando Aires sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Viejo Potrero FC defense, Esteve Boniel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Manuel Criston. The Viejo Potrero FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Manuel Criston should have stopped the shot. The Viejo Potrero FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Lauti y Simon were winning 0-1.

Esteve Boniel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hugo Quinto took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 59th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cecilio Bortzaioriz. Lauti y Simon's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Viejo Potrero FC's Evelio Gorosti got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 67 minutes into the match, Viejo Potrero FC's goalkeeper Manuel Criston had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fabricio Oro. After having played for 75 minutes, Esteve Boniel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lauti y Simon's supporters crossed their fingers, but Esteve Boniel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 78 minutes into the match, Lauti y Simon's goal looked a bit too open when Evelio Gorosti came free, but Cecilio Bortzaioriz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lauti y Simon's Rolando Aires managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Wilfredo Esiquio in the 80 minute of the game. Rolando Aires sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rolando Aires came free in the 87th minute and tried to tip the ball over Manuel Criston, but to the joy of Viejo Potrero FC's supporters the ball went over. 89 minutes into the match, Viejo Potrero FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rolando Aires came free, but Manuel Criston reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nunez Oskitz who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 90thth minute tested the skills of Manuel Criston when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Celestino Kelemen during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Viejo Potrero FC getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Celestino Kelemen hit a great ball. Rolando Aires kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match.
