Spectators: 7298 (Terracing: 5475, Seating: 1678, VIP seats: 145) Viejo Potrero FC's Evelio Gorosti started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5thth minute of the game Agustin Nalo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Viejo Potrero FC's Manuel Criston was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Christian Duarte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Viejo Potrero FC booed when Lobocó was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agustin Nalo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Lobocó's Ciriaco Stanislao got a free kick in the 19th minute. When Benedicto Hunfredo fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lobocó's protests and gave Benedicto Hunfredo a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Lobocó getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Benedicto Hunfredo hit a great ball. Amadeo Honesto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 32 minutes into the game, Celestino Kelemen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Viejo Potrero FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lobocó the free kick. In the 32nd minute, Celestino Kelemen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Agustin Nalo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Manuel Criston tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Agustin Nalo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Criston having to interfere. Casimiro Filipo's late challenge caught a Lobocó's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Casimiro Filipo helped the player get up and apologised.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Agustin Nalo to make the kick off. Evelio Gorosti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Amadeo Honesto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Christian Duarte struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Manuel Criston didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lobocó. After 75 played minutes Viejo Potrero FC got a freekick which was hit by Casimiro Filipo. Manuel Criston showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agustin Nalo, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Lobocó's Agustin Nalo got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Agustin Nalo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Claudio Guifre made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Amadeo Honesto sent off a good shot on target. Manuel Criston showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agustin Nalo in the 89th minute of the match. Agustin Nalo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Manuel Criston having to make a save. 95 minutes into the match, Christian Duarte had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Manuel Criston. Viejo Potrero FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Christian Duarte was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After having played for 98 minutes, Agustin Nalo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lobocó's supporters crossed their fingers, but Agustin Nalo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Viejo Potrero FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Lobocó.
