Wilfredo Esiquio hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. When Matias Garikoitz came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the TISHA FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Matias Garikoitz couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Viejo Potrero FC's zone, Wilfredo Sugar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manuel Criston came out of the goal and Wilfredo Sugar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Joaquin Mancio kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Evelio Gorosti made the kick off in the second half. Hernan Bazil blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Manuel Criston having to make a save. Matias Garikoitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Criston having to interfere. Manuel Criston showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matias Garikoitz in the 58th minute of the match. Wilfredo Sugar's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Manuel Criston firmly grabbed it by the left post. Jairo Senon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evelio Gorosti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Wilfredo Sugar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Matias Garikoitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Criston having to interfere. In a very dangerous position, a player in Viejo Potrero FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 74th minute. Penalty! When the match was over TISHA FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Viejo Potrero FC throughout the match.
