The referee showed Isidoro Weather the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 15th match minute, Bonpland FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isidoro Weather to maneuver through the defense. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Israel Corderall couldn't finish the play. 27 minutes into the match, Israel Corderall dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Manuel Criston, 2-0. In the 29th minute, Casimiro Filipo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bernardino Evis got free with Manuel Criston in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Viejo Potrero FC's Manuel Criston proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Viejo Potrero FC from getting a goal against them. Remigio Harri's late challenge caught a Bonpland FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bonpland FC's Orlando Bela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evelio Gorosti in the 70th minute of play. A collision led to Viejo Potrero FC getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Celestino Kelemen hit a great ball. Orlando Bela made an important save on a dangerous shot by Amadeo Honesto in the 81st minute. With an all-out effort, Viejo Potrero FC's Orlando Bela threw himself towards the right post 83 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Evelio Gorosti, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Amadeo Honesto came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Viejo Potrero FC fans jumped to their feet.
