With 20 minutes on the clock, Antonio Oihan commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Gregorio Goyo came out of the goal and Claudio Feo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eriberto Firman kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. If Hernan Magdaleno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Claudio Feo managed to get in a good position for a shot. CLUB UNIÓN De Santa Fe's supporters rose to their feet, but Claudio Feo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gregorio Goyo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Siro Ruisko made a kick off. Gregorio Goyo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hernan Magdaleno in the 53rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anastasio Iliana in the 56th minute of play forced Club Atletico Parque Chas's goalkeeper Gregorio Goyo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hernan Magdaleno blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gregorio Goyo having to make a save. If Anastasio Iliana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hernan Magdaleno struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Gregorio Goyo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CLUB UNIÓN De Santa Fe. Hernan Magdaleno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Gregorio Goyo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leo Norino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Siro Ruisko in the 67th minute of play. If Hernan Magdaleno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gregorio Goyo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hernan Magdaleno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Club Atletico Parque Chas's Siro Ruisko got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hernan Magdaleno in the 83rd minute of play forced Club Atletico Parque Chas's goalkeeper Gregorio Goyo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eriberto Firman hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Hernan Magdaleno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gregorio Goyo having to interfere. CLUB UNIÓN De Santa Fe walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
